RE;INCARNATED started from a simple question: why make something new when so much already exists?
A project about getting dressed - and buying less to do so. About finding the pieces worth keeping, worth repeating, worth wearing beyond repair.
The fashion industry produces more than it needs. RE;INCARNATED is a response to that - taking existing textiles and reworking them by hand into one-of-one pieces. Nothing is produced from scratch. Every piece carries the history of the material it was made from, reworked into something worth keeping again. Every decision, from material to construction, is made with longevity in mind.
